The PEACE project is being carried out by seven entities, under the coordination of the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR). The scientific core of the project consortium consists of three well-known research organizations – DLR, Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus Senftenberg (BTU), and Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/e) - with competences and established expertise in stack components, electrocatalysis, cell testing, electrochemical characterization, and modelling. Additionally, sustainability and circularity aspects of the PEACE technology will be evaluated by Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU). The concept of integrating PEACE hydrogen production with a chemical plant will be proposed by The Hydrogen Chemistry Company (HyCC) - one of the largest hydrogen companies in the world. Lastly, two SMEs - Materials Mates Italia (MMI) from Italy and GRANT Garant (GG) from Czechia – enrich the project with their expertise and flexibility. MMI is an active player in the field of scientific instruments and systems production for energy research, whilst GG supports scientific research activities through its know-how in project promotion and dissemination and exploitation of results.
The project is supported by
the Clean Hydrogen Partnership and its members.
